The Forrester classification is primarily based on invasive hemodynamic assessment. This criteria assigns patients into four criteria based clinical and hemodynamic evaluation with the appropriate Cardiac Index (CI) and Pulmonary Capillary Wedge Pressure (PCWP). Each category indicates different approach of management and different prognostic probability. In acute setting, thorough patient assessment is vital to decide the appropriate management.
